 Meals
At Jack and Jill we focus on promoting healthy eating habits and sustainability practices.
All families at Jack and Jill are encouraged to provide nutritious morning tea and lunch for their children. We understand the importance of fuelling young bodies with wholesome foods, and we're committed to supporting families in making nutritious choices. As part of our sustainability efforts, we encourage families to minimise packaging wherever possible, as we believe in reducing waste and caring for our environment.
In addition to morning tea and lunch, our service provides afternoon tea to ensure that children have the energy they need to thrive throughout the day. We strive to create a balanced and wholesome menu that caters to the dietary needs and preferences of all children in our care.

We work alongside 'Munch and Move'. The Munch & Move program aims to promote and encourage children's healthy eating, physical activity and reduce small screen recreation. Through Munch & Move NSW early childhood educators have the opportunity to attend a full day training program that assists them to implement a fun, play-based approach to support healthy eating and physical activity habits in young children. The Munch & Move training program fits within the new National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework. The program is a NSW Health initiative with support from the NSW Department of Human Services (Community Services) and the Local Health Districts.
